Instead of the heavy carcass materials most conversions rely on, it's constructed from ultralightweight plywood with a warm birch finish over a Paulownia/magnolia core — a build approach that can trim up to roughly 37% of the cabinetry weight, giving you back precious payload for water, batteries, and gear.
Where it counts for looks and durability, we use MDF only on the shaker-style doors and face panels, then paint them for a clean, seamless, furniture-grade finish. The result is a kitchen that feels like premium built-in cabinetry but weighs a fraction of a traditional install.
