Instead of doors that swing out into your living space, this cabinet uses lift-up Shaker doors held open by door lifters (flap-stays): each door raises upward and stays open hands-free, so it never blocks the aisle or catches your head while you load and unload.
Behind the two lift-up doors sit two enclosed bays that keep your contents secure and out of sight, divided by a central partition with one shelf per bay for tidy, organized storage. The whole unit is shaped with an angled body that follows the natural curve of a van's roofline, tucking in tight against the wall so you keep as much headroom as possible.
The carcass is built from 15-ply plywood and joined with a cam-and-dowel system for a rigid structure that shrugs off the constant vibration of the road, and the faces are finished in a hand-painted Stormy Sea (DE 5817) that gives the cabinet a clean, modern look. A built-in LED strip lights the interior for easy access after dark, and push-button latches keep each door shut and silent while you drive. It arrives fully assembled and ready to mount.
Sold as a standalone cabinet, it isn't locked to one vehicle — it's a versatile overhead storage solution you can plan into a camper van of almost any size.
